Conflict of interest
Authors are responsible for recognizing and declaring conflicts of interest related to the article submitted to LAJEC, starting two years before the study period, the study period, and up to the time of the publication of the article. These should be disclosed in a separate section at the end of the article, before the acknowledgments, and should not be included on the title page, as a footnote to the title, or in any other manner. Below are examples of conflicts of interest:
- Associations with commercial entities that provided support for the work reported in the submitted manuscript.
- Associations with commercial entities that could be considered interested in the general area of the submitted manuscript.
- Non-financial associations that may be relevant or considered relevant to the submitted manuscript.
Example: I, the author(s), declare the following interests: AA has received honoraria as a speaker from the company BBB. CC has received honoraria as a member of the advisory board of the company DDD. The institution of EE receives funding from the company FFF for a trial in which it is a co-investigator.
